• World Health Day (WHD):

In the occasion of the World Health Day WHD. (WHD is an annual World Health Organization WHO event celebrated on 7 April), this year WHO, devoted a WHD specifically to Road Safety. So RESC celebrated this occasion and performed many activates. WHD activities were carried at a school in Ramallah area, different techniques were used to increase the children awareness about Road Safety, like drawings, lectures, play, and many other activities, these school activities were to increase the children awareness in the following fields:

· The most common road safety issues affecting schools.

· How to get assistance.

· Traffic signals on all roads.

· School crossing supervisors on roads.

• PENGON membership( Palestinian Environmental NGO's Network):

"RESC" Roads and Environment Safety Center is considered one of the establishing organizations for the Palestinian Environmental Non Governmental Organizations Network PENGON, which  gathers most of the Palestinian NGO's that works in the environmental sector.

• Membership in the  Committee of the Supervision on the Elections:

"RESC" is considered an active organization in the committee that will organize and supervise on the Palestinian local, legislative and presidential elections, furthermore "RESC" is a member in the minimized election supervision council in Ramallah governorate.

• UNV ( United Nation Volunteer ) program

"RESC" perform many voluntary activities such as, provision of educational sessions related to traffic awareness in many schools, organizing summer camps, preparing educational materials to increase the awareness toward roads and environment safety. this leads to assigning one of RESC members in the UNV-program for 6 months.

• Training Activities

since the establishment of ;"RESC", priority has been given to the training activities,  4 training programs were accomplished:

1. Training Courses in "minimizing the air pollution", two courses were implemented targeting the employees of the, Ministry of Transpirations, Municipalities, Ministry of Local Governance, Traffic Police.  

2. RESC" performed four workshops of one day each for the local community regarding "Waste Tires Reuse in Playing Playground". These workshops aimed  to increase the public awareness about the environmental damages resulting from accumulated waste tyres. These workshops also helped in achieving the project goals and objectives and highlighted the idea of tyre reuse. In addition, through these workshops the people learned  how to sustain and develop the constructed playground.

3. workshop was implemented in cooperation with the Palestinian Hydrology Group (PHG), this workshop targeted the women at Bani Zeid area, the main topic of this workshop was "Environmental Awareness and Community Development".

4.  two training courses aimed to qualify supervisors for the summer camps implemented in 20003/2004.
